Equipping YWAMers to provide meaningful support since 2020

Member Care has been serving YWAM for over 25 years. In 2020 we pioneered our online training.

 

When we couldn't meet in person, we joined together online, received great teaching, and practiced our Member Care Tools. One of the hallmarks of our online training is an emphasis on being practical. In all of our trainings, we have people practice what they've learned in their ministry context.

The PIMC (Practical Introduction to Member Care) began in 2023. We've helped equip missionaries to care for missionaries and put excellent tools in the hands of our participants. We form a community of like-minded people in ministry and lean into each other as we care for missionaries.

 

Our staff come from all over North America and many have served as missionaries overseas as well as in North America. We have a wealth and variety of missions experience among us.

No matter what the issue, we have someone who has experience or training.

Online training is flexible and allows people who can't travel for in-person training to gain expertise and experience. It's one of many ways we help missionaries be healthy and resilient.​
